About the Speaker
Pamela H. Vines is an award-winning filmmaker and the CEO of Vines Film and Media, a multimedia production company based in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Through her firm, Pamela specializes in creating cinematic films, documentaries, and branded video content that empower business owners, organizations, and influencers to tell their stories with impact. Her work blends visual storytelling with strategic messaging, helping clients elevate their brands and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
Pamela has written, produced, and directed multiple short films and documentaries, showcasing her ability to merge creativity with purpose-driven narratives. Beyond filmmaking, she is also a published author and writing facilitator. Her novel, Born of Sin, achieved Amazon #1 Best Seller status, cementing her voice as both a literary and visual storyteller.
A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, Pamela’s distinguished military career culminated as a Spokesperson and Team Chief in the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs at the Pentagon. Drawing from her leadership, communication, and strategic planning experience, she now applies the same discipline and vision to her work in media and storytelling.
Pamela holds a B.A. in English and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University. She also studied film and photography at Prince George’s Community College, Maryland. She is an active member of the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, and the Association of the United States Army.
Originally from Beaver County, Pennsylvania, Pamela now resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with her husband, Shurman Vines, Sr. She continues to pursue new projects in film, fiction, and nonfiction writing—driven by her guiding principle:
